A new business-grade aparthotel for London

Standout accommodation in Aldgate, The Gate spans 20 floors and 189 design-led suites

The Gate Aparthotel recently opened its doors in Aldgate, effortlessly marrying location, style and facilities to meet the needs of discerning business travellers working in the city.

On our tour with Sales Director Anshul Mehta, we noted there are many thoughtful touches which make it stand out from the crowd, from the Banksy artwork featured throughout the building, to Italian-made mid-century furniture and breathtaking 360-degree views over the City of London.

For those seeking the benefits of home-style living but with hotel security and complete booking flexibility, The Gate also acknowledges the current trend of ‘co-everything’, its exclusive member’s lounge and terrace double as a breakfast room, co-working space and evening bar. Ben Davis of Saxbury said, “The card-operated 24-hour wine and beer dispensers in the residents’ lounge are a stroke of genius!”

The suites are carefully planned out to make the most of the space,  each unit is kitted out with many home comforts, a fully equipped kitchen, Nespresso machines, walk-in shower room, and a Hypnos bed to ensure guests are able to relax in true indulgence.  There is a choice of four room types dependent on one’s budget and length of stay, ranging from studios at 20 sq m to residences at over 32 sq m. On the lower ground floor sits the fitness studio – fitted with Peloton bikes, treadmills and weights there is something to suit every guest workout requirement.

We would like to wish Anshul and his team at The Gate Aparthotel a very successful launch.
