A new 39-key climate-neutral aparthotel in Tower Hill, for which Saxbury provided development consultation and identified the ideal operating partner.

With a BREEAM “Excellent” rating for sustainability, this boutique aparthotel enjoys an outstanding location on the border of the City of London. Financial and commercial centres are on the doorstep, with several corporate headquarters within walking distance.

The aparthotel comprises 39 design-forward units, a residents’ lounge and a dedicated entrance and lift. Nearly 200 square metres of back-of-house amenities span a manager’s office, bike store and lower-ground-floor storage area. For leisure guests, the local area’s attractions include the world-class Tower of London and Tower Bridge as well as St Katherine Docks, all 10 minutes away by foot.

Saxbury was instructed by the owner, Chamber Street Social, and joined the project as development consultants to provide advice on layout and design. Saxbury then managed a successful operator search and selection campaign, identifying a European operator keen to plant their first flag in a prime location within central London. Heads of terms were swiftly negotiated and terms signed, allowing the owners to begin construction of the new aparthotel.
