A landmark serviced apartment block acquired to manage on behalf of Native Places
Named after its former use as the wardrobe of King Edward III, who moved his wares here from the Tower of London in 1381, The King’s Wardrobe once played host to armour, chattels, paintings and other royal treasures. Hundreds of years later, the site suffered badly in the great fire of London.
Today, however, the building lives on and welcomes guests to St Paul’s via its 92 design-forward apartments. The apartments benefit from proximity to the London Stock Exchange and various global financial headquarters as well as City Thameslink and Blackfriars stations. This is in addition to world-class restaurants and the historical pubs and passages of Bank.
Due to our expert knowledge and connections in this sector, Saxbury was able to identify an opportunity Native Places to be the new custodians of this storied scheme.
